You get to enjoy various Samsung services through your Samsung account, without having to sign up for each service separately. On Samsung Members, you will also get more out of your device with curated content that will be selected for you.
If you own a Samsung device, setting up Samsung Account can help you in the event of an emergency, theft or loss. You will also be able to restore all your data to a replacement Samsung device.

Samsung Account
The Samsung Account has multiple benefits: it enables you to keep Samsung apps synced across your Samsung devices, gives access to Samsung Pay, enables you to get news and discounts, and use the Find My Mobile service to keep track of your phone, amongst others.
This will also help if you forget your ID or password. Some features may vary by device and country, so remember to keep your information up-to-date.
Samsung Account Profile
To edit your profile, just open Samsung Pay on your phone, and then tap Menu in the top left corner. Tap Settings, and then swipe to and tap Profile. You can edit your name, phone number, email address, billing address, and add up to three shipping addresses.

Samsung Cloud allows you to backup, sync and restores content stored on your device. You’ll never lose anything important to you and can seamlessly view photos across all devices. If you replace your phone, you won’t lose any of your data because you can copy it across using Samsung Cloud.
Samsung Pass
Samsung Pass allows you to use your saved biometric information (fingerprint, iris, or face recognition) to log into accounts, apps and websites. You can also add in personal information such as your address and card information so you can populate this quickly and more easily. Please note that biometric data and personal information are saved to your device only, and do not sync to other devices.
How to Set Up Samsung Pass
Below are tips to setting up your Samsung pass;
- From Settings, swipe to and tap Biometrics and security, and then tap Samsung Pass.
- Tap Agree, sign in with your Samsung account credentials, and then tap OK.
- Tap Fingerprints or Irises, and then tap Continue.
- Follow the on-screen prompts, and then tap Done.
If you experience issues when setting up Samsung Pass, receive errors or see a temporarily not available message, switch your network connection; turn off Wi-Fi and only use Mobile data, or if using Mobile data turn on Wi-Fi.
