Looking into what we have here OneDrive for Business, I think this is not new to us anymore. Because I have explained little things about it in our previous article that talks about “OneDrive” as a topic of its own. This is a device that has to do with online storage in other to keep your business files and documents safe. The benefit of OneDrive is that, whenever a file is saved on the platform, those files are totally safe and you can’t lose them only when you deleted them from the platform yourself.
Out that, be the owner of the account you are using and your smartphone or computer gets spoil or lost. It is very possible for you to access your files and documents on any new device by logging your OneDrive account on that new device you want to access your files on.

Like I said you are been provided with 5GB free storage capacity for each user. And I also say that you are free to increase your storage capacity whenever your free 5GB is filled up. For home use, there are plans for it and also for business. Let look into the list of plans and pricing for home and business before moving over to the next paragraph.

Here we are, where I will be listing the plans and pricing on home service. You should also know that it is a personal service.
- OneDrive basic 5GB and this plan are free.
- OneDrive 100 GB, the price for this plan is $1.99 each month.
- Microsoft 365 personal, this plan is a yearly plan and the price is $69.99 and it is a premium feature that gives you 1TB of storage.
- Microsoft 365 family and it is $99.99 yearly and you are provided with a month free trial.

OneDrive Business Plans and Pricing
I bet we have seen the list of plans and pricing for the family user, now it is time to list out the one for business.
- $5.00 for plan 1 and it is a monthly plan.
- $10.00 for plan 2 every month.
- Microsoft 365 business basic, %5.00 per month.
- Lastly, we have Microsoft 365 business standards for $12.50.
These are all the plans and pricing that have to do with OneDrive, the one for the family which is personal and for business users.

Install Microsoft OneDrive for Business
You all will agree with me that after downloading an app, installation follows. And there we are now, after which you have downloaded the app. Access the app inside your file manager download folder and click on the app. After that, the process to install the app will come up and then you have to start following the installation steps in order to complete the installation of the app. For those that are new and this is their first time of hearing of OneDrive, you have to create an account on it before you can make use of it.
OneDrive Account
Since the beginning of the article, I have been talking Onedrive and that is developed by Microsoft. There is something that I like everyone here to know about and which is, having in mind that all that has to do with OneDrive account has to do with Microsoft account. This is to tell you, you need a Microsoft account to access the storage device and you can create one for yourself with the steps that I will be providing down here for you.
- You can create the app using the app or the Microsoft website by visiting Microsoft.
- Now click on “All Microsoft” and click “OneDrive” among the options you will find there.
- Then click “Sign-up for Free” on the page that comes after clicking “OneDrive”.
- Here, you will be taken to a new page where you have to sign-up for an account.
- Click the box and enter your email and click Next.
- Enter your password and also click Next again.
To complete the sign-up process, you are requested to provide all the information required of you on their respective boxes and by click, on the create button and you are done. But if you already have a Microsoft account and you want to access the OneDrive for business, you don’t need to create a new account. All that you suppose to do is to log in your account on it, that is all.
