Coronavirus Vaccination

Safe and effective vaccines are a game-changing tool: but for the foreseeable future we must continue wearing masks, cleaning our hands, ensuring good ventilation indoors, physically distancing and avoiding crowds.

To bring this pandemic to an end, a large share of the world needs to be immune to the virus. The safest way to achieve this is with a vaccine. Vaccines are a technology that humanity has often relied on in the past to bring down the death toll of infectious diseases.

Covid-19 Vaccination

Being vaccinated does not mean that we can throw caution to the wind and put ourselves and others at risk, particularly because research is still ongoing into how much vaccines protect not only against disease but also against infection and transmission.

But it’s not vaccines that will stop the pandemic, it’s vaccination. We must ensure fair and equitable access to vaccines, and ensure every country receives them and can roll them out to protect their people, starting with the most vulnerable.

Now the challenge is to make these vaccines available to people around the world. It will be key that people in all countries not just in rich countries receive the required protection.

Immunization is a global health and development success story, saving millions of lives every year. Vaccines reduce risks of getting a disease by working with your body’s natural defenses to build protection. When you get a vaccine, your immune system responds.

We now have vaccines to prevent more than 20 life-threatening diseases, helping people of all ages live longer, healthier lives. Immunization currently prevents 2-3 million deaths every year from diseases like diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, influenza and measles.

Immunization is a key component of primary health care and an indisputable human right. It’s also one of the best health investments money can buy. Vaccines are also critical to the prevention and control of infectious-disease outbreaks.

Is The Covid-19 Vaccine Safe?

All three vaccines authorized or approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have been thoroughly tested and found to be safe and effective in preventing severe COVID-19.

They continue to undergo continuous and intense safety monitoring. COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. COVID-19 vaccines were evaluated in tens of thousands of participants in clinical trials.

Moderna Covid-19 Vaccine

The WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) has issued interim recommendations for the use of the Moderna COVID-19 (mRNA-1273) vaccine against COVID-19.

Are Covid-19 Vaccines Free

The federal government is providing Coronavirus Vaccination free of charge to all people living in the United States, regardless of their immigration or health insurance status. I also think it’s free all over the globe.

So if anyone asks you to pay for access to a COVID-19 vaccine, you can bet it’s a scam. Don’t share your personal or financial information if someone calls, texts, or emails you promising access to a vaccine for an extra fee.

Vaccine Centre

There are different centres administering the Coronavirus Vaccination, depending on where you live. You can get access to the different Covid-19 centers here.

We all need to come together in these trying times and unite against the pandemic threatening to wipe out the globe by getting vaccinated.
